Gertrude M. Weber, age 78 of Dorr, died Friday, Sept. 15.

Gertrude enjoyed going to the families’ sporting events and was a huge fan. She was always there and willing to help her family and friends in a time of need and loved her quilting.

She was a 1957 graduate of Hopkins High School.

She is survived by her children Cherie (Jim) Gratz, Jeff (Jill) Weber, Jason (Tracy) Weber; her grandchildren Josh (Bridget) Ewing, Travis (Jessica) Ewing, Drew, Colin, Madelyn, Jacob, Brayden Weber; 5 great grandchildren; her brother, Edward C. Davis; sister-in-law, Louise Davis; in-laws Robert Bieber, Phyllis (Burrell) Stein, Denis (Shirley) Weber, Barb (Den) Roys; many special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Weber.

Viewing and visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 18, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th Dorr, with a Rosary service at 4 p.m. Visitationwill be one hour prior to mass at church  Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept 19, at St. Mary’s Visitation Parish, 2459 146th Ave, Byron Center.
