Gregory D. Bieber, age 62, died Friday, Sept. 15.
Greg loved hunting, fishing and being in the great outdoors especially in the Upper Peninsula. He enjoyed teaching the basics of safety and marksmanship to people who were new to shooting sports. Greg was easy going, kind-hearted, and always put his family first.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Carol Joyce Bieber (De Boer); his children, Kendra (Tim) Blocker, Danielle (Claude) Campbell, Tonya (Steve) Blomeling, Brandon (Shannon) Bieber, Karra (Kyle) Brotherton; his grandchildren, Andrieu, Chayse, Kyle, Taylor, Jeremy, Brayden, Seraphina, Wyatt, Charlotte; his father, Robert Bieber; his siblings, Ron (Vicki) Bieber, Pam (Dan) Kreuzer, Debby (Paul) Rewa; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, E. Dolores Bieber.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a Rosary Service at 7 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, at St. Mary’s Visitation Parish, 2459 146th Ave. in Byron Center. Father Christopher Derda and Father Stephen Rodrigo will officiate.
There will not be a public viewing at the parish prior to the service. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Visitation Cemetery.
In honor of Greg, contributions may be made to Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or Allegan County Animal Shelter.
