Florence Potter, age 79, died Thursday, Jan. 14.

She is survived by her sons Roger (Melody Sessions) Potter and Dan (Amy) Potter; grandchildren Jenna Potter (Joey Schloff), Trevor, Tyler, and Alex Potter; great-grandchild, Paisley Schloff (and great-grandson on the way); sister-in-law Mary DeJong; brother-in-law Robert Kroll; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Potter.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St., Dorr. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 18, at Moline Christian Reformed Church, 4341 Chappell St., with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Florence, contributions may be made to Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services or Moline Christian School.
