Lynn D. Fleming, 74, of Fennville, a 1959 graduate of Hopkins High School, died Monday, Aug. 22, at Wings Home in Allegan.
Born Aug. 25, 1941, he was the son of Leon and Rosalie (Starring) Fleming. Lynn was a longtime resident of the Fennville area, and attended the Fennville United Methodist Church. He was the owner of Fleming Gravel Company for many years. Lynn enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children Randall and Laurie Fleming of Fennville, Rik and Nikki Fleming of Zeeland, MI, Robin and Steve Strouse of Lowell, MI, Kristin and Jeff Ritchie of Hamilton, MI; 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Lynn is also survived by his sister Nancy and Bill Miller of Allegan and brother Gary and Diane Fleming of Allegan.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m.Friday, Aug. 26, at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, MI. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Fennville United Methodist Church, 5849 124th Ave., with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Pastor Daniel Barkholz will be officiating.
