Judith Sterken, age 81, died Friday, Oct. 14.

She is survived by her children Todd Sterken and Terry (Patty) Sterken; grandchildren Todd Sterken Jr. and Journey Ann Sterken; siblings Marv (Marlene) Veldhouse, Garry (Betty) Veldhouse, Jerie Veldhouse, Sharon (Jack) Vanden Berg, Norman (Sandy) Veldhouse, Roger (Sue) Veldhouse, Donna (Larry) Terrell, Sandy (Bruce) Lutz; in-laws Norman (Leona) Sterken and Karen Dawn Grahm; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Sterken; brother, Howard Veldhouse; brother-in-law, Jay Grahm.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Gun Lake Community Church, 12200 W. M179 Hwy., Wayland, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Dan Byer will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gun Lake Community Church or Mel Trotter Ministries.
