Kimberly Marie Skiba, age 57, of Wyoming, died unexpectedly Monday evening, June 17.

Kim grew up in Hopkins, as a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed spending time sitting and chatting with those she loved. She would spend hours listening and laughing with all her closest family and friends any time she got the chance.

Kim was a dedicated employee and worked for more than 15 years at Metal Components. She was an avid sports fan and looked forward to cheering on  the Dallas Cowboys every year during football season.

Kim always had an endless list of new projects around the house for her and Mike to work on, she had an eye for design and a passion for making her house a home. She loved being a grandma and lived for the joy of making her grandchildren smile.

She is survived by her husband of almost 23 years, Mike Skiba; her children, Josh (Gethel) Halvorsen, Jessica (Jamie) Hudson, Gage Hoffius, Tyler Miller, David Miller, and Alaya Miller; her stepdaughter, Selena Skiba; her grandchildren, MacKenzie Sanders, Noah Hudson, Dylan Sanders, Mady Sanders, Ethan Hudson, Aleyana Hudson, Amyah Miller, Jaxon Halvorsen, Amira Calderon, Kamden White; her brother, Robert Hoffius; her mother, Glenda Royce; and her furbabies, Bailey and Mia.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Hayden Miller-White, her father Robert Hoffius, her grandparents, Donald and Marilyn Hoffius, and her many pets including her very best four-legged friend, Buddy.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 2, at MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel, 3131 S. Division Ave, Wyoming. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday morning for a showing from 10 to 11am at the funeral home prior to services.
