David Prins, age 76, of Dorr, died Sunday, Oct. 10.

David was a graduate of Ottawa Hills High School in 1962. He served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict.

He is survived by his children Scott (Jessica) Prins, Lori Prins, Tadd Prins, Daryl (Elizabeth) Prins; grandchildren Justice and Savannah Prins, Courtney (Garrett) Miller, Kaylee (Jackson) Callahan, Austin and Alex Prins; great-grandson, Oliver Miller.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Janice Prins.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Dorr Chapel, 4330 18th St., with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service.
