June Marinelli, age 82, died, Saturday, May 12.

June was a lifelong learner who enjoyed reading, gardening, knitting and needle point. One of her other hobbies was watching tennis on TV. She worked as an accountant in the electronics industry for many years.

June is survived by her children Paula and Gary Zerndt, Dean Marinelli, Domenic and Melissa Marinelli, Julie Collins; her grandchildren Emily and Jordan Wehlan, Melanie and Nate Grube, Katie and Casey Merren, Gina, Tony, Nicholas, Nicole Marinelli, Allyson Collins, Stacey Oriza; her great-grandchildren, Vinny, Connor, Jakob, Noah, Max, George, Micah, Ashley, Kayla, Samantha, Jakoby, Raeyana; her sisters, Jean Suveg, Ruth Stoltz; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Domenic Marinelli; her brothers Ken and Keith Reinke; and her daughters-in-law Susan and Jean Marinelli.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with a Rosary service beginning at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, 4330 18th St. in Dorr. Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 17, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St. in Wayland.  Father Alphonse Savarimuthu will officiate.  Interment will be at Hooker Cemetery.

In honor of June, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
