Pamela Mary (Higgins) Centilli, a radiant soul whose zest for life was matched only by her love for family, died Sunday, Aug.17. She was 81 years old.
Born July 8, 1944, Pam lived life in full color. Whether she was cruising down winding roads on the back of Dave’s motorcycle, diving into the depths of the ocean with her scuba gear, or soaking up the serenity of lake life, she embraced every moment with joy and curiosity.
She shared marriage with her husband, David, until his passing in 2008. Together, they built a life filled with adventure, laughter, and unwavering love.
Family was her anchor. She cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren, and close friends – whether gathered around a bonfire by the lake, sharing meals, or simply enjoying each other’s company.
She is survived by her daughters Amy Centilli (Rich Rego) and Amanda Boyd (Bil Boyd); sister, Beverly Waters; grandchildren Lynzi Spore, Hayden Spore, and Colin Boyd; along with several nieces and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Centilli; parents Thomas and Mary Higgins; and sister, Deborah Butler.
A celebration of life visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 North Main St, Wayland. Stories will be shared, laughter encouraged, and her spirit honored in the way she would have wanted – joyfully and together.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m., with one hour of visitation prior, Saturday, Aug. 30, at SS Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, 159 131st Ave., Wayland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Paws With A Cause. Interment will be at SS Cyril and Methodius Cemetery.
