Harlan Myers died Saturday, May 14, at the age of 84.

Harlan served his country in the United States Marines. He worked for GM for 31 years and after retirement had a second career at PerCor for 18 years.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Myers; children Todd (Katie) Myers, Becky (Walt) Dyer, Dan (Kathy) Myers; grandchildren Derek (Jen) Dyer, Zach (Olivia) Myers, Kristi (Jack) Wright, Danielle (Jon) Sargent, Nate Myers, Matt Myers, Lainey Myers; great-grandchildren Parker, Elijah, AJ, Reese, Cade; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by parents Silvester and Hattie Myers (Harthun); siblings Reynold, Harold, William, Robert, Shirley and Margaret.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St., Dorr. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, May 20, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 4219 Park Lane, Dorr. Interment will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Bear Lake Township Cemetery, 7942 Maidens Rd., Bear Lake, MI.

In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Harlan, contributions may be made to Epiphany Lutheran Church, Faith Hospice or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
