David Baker, age 37 died Tuesday, Sept. 3, a victim of a stabbing murder in Wyoming.

He was killed on the front yard of a home on Porter Street after an argument. Baker was one of two victims found by police. The other was hospitalized.

David had a huge heart, a personality bigger than life, with a macho exterior. David and his daughter shared a passion for Jujitsu. He had a love for children and animals, but most of all, he loved his family and many friends.

He is survived by his parents Carey Baker and Julie Baker; children, Elizabeth and Haylee; sister, Lisa Kruisenga; nieces, Chelsea and Joslin and great nephew, Jayce; girlfriend, Bethany Greig; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8,at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main St, Wayland.

His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9, at Moline Baptist Church, 4428 Chappell, Moline, 49335. Rev. Christopher Bossio will be officiating.
