Patricia Rae Slagter (Bullen), age 86 of Wayland, died Monday, Jan. 6.
Born Dec. 1, 1938, Pat was devoted to her children and grandchildren and loved attending their activities. She even became a bus driver to be close to her children’s sporting events.
She loved watching her Detroit sports teams on television and at times, when they weren’t doing well, she would yell at the television. She loved family gatherings and was a favorite aunt by all. She was spunky and happy.
She is survived by her children, Perry (Marcia), Rick (Cindy), and Calvin Slagter; brother, Thomas Bullen. She was blessed with five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sisters Phyllis Gerg, Marilyn Doornbos, and Joann Kooiman.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St., Dorr. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan 13 at the funeral home, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Action of Allegan County – home delivered meals.
