Kelly Marie Duggins, 40 of Michigan City, Ind., died Sunday, Feb. 19, at her home.

Born Aug. 18, 1982, in Allegan, she was the daughter of Brenda Lee (Canfield) Terry and the late Nelson Terry and the wife of the late Michael Duggins.

Kelly was a kind and generous person whose main purpose in life was to be a wonderful mother to her children. She had an infectious smile that lit up the room and showed her excitement for life. Being there for her kids and her fur babies brought more joy to Kelly than anything else in this world.

Besides her mother, Brenda, surviving are her children, Nathan A. and Alex Pattan, Michael A. Duggins Jr. and Emilie Hudson, Breanna M. Duggins; her four siblings, Nelson Terry Jr., Patty Terry, Jesse and Patricha Terry, and Amanda Terry and Michael Bukrey; two grandchildren, Anthony Pattan and Lilliana Pattan; along with one grandchild on the way; and her fiancé, Gary Spencer.

The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at which time the funeral will begin, with Pastor Ronnie Ewing officiating.  Kelly will be laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery immediately following the service.

A GoFundMe page has been established Michael Duggins to help with expenses.
