Eugene M. Wright, age 65, died Sunday, Jan, 20.

Eugene served his country in the United States Navy. First and foremost, Eugene loved his family dearly. He also had heart for others, and was known to give to many local charities. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and traveling

He is survived by his children, Kristen (Matthew) Carmon, Keith Wright; granddaughters Khloe and Bailey; siblings, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Wright; parents Eugene F. and Ardis Wright.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St., with visitation one hour prior to the service.

In memory of Eugene and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local charity of one’s choice.
