Wanda E. Arndt of Hopkins died Sunday, Nov. 15,, at Railside Living Center in Byron Center. She was 92.

Mrs. Arndt was born on July 25, 1923, in Hopkins, the daughter of Linden and Frieda (Nicolai) Buck. Wanda was a Hopkins High School Class of 1940 graduate and earned her associate degree from Davenport University in Grand Rapids. She was a lifetime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her three children: Karen and Ed Wygnal, Roger and Mary Arndt, Philip and Kristi Arndt; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; two brothers: Basil Buck and Leland Buck.

Friends may meet with the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, the Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Hopkins, Pastor Donald Seelhoff officiating. Private interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery.
