Clara Blain, age 91, died Sunday June 17.

Clara truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; time with family and friends, quilting, her lifetime membership to the VFW Auxiliary and as a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughter Mary (Roger) Arndt, Son Bert (Sally)Blain; grandchildren Tony (Ronna) Arndt, Jay (Teresa) Arndt, Jason (Sharon) Blain, Jennifer (Matt) Frank; 13 great grandchildren; four great great granddaughters; a sister, Donna Smith; and neighboring friends who were family to her.

Clara was preceded in death by her husband Armond “Army” Blain.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Clara touched are invited to Gorden Funeral Residence in Hopkins from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 20. A funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland or to the Hopkins Lions Club.
