Mary Martin, age 69, died Wednesday, May 8.

Mary was a huge advocate and supporter of Gun Lake Casino. She was a very caring and giving person. Most of all, Mary loved her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children Mindy Schneider, Matt Martin; seven grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Pamela Tejeda; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Martin; daughter, Melanie Martin, and son-in-law, Tim Schneider.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 13, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N Main, Wayland.  The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2250 E Paris Ave SE, Grand Rapids, 49546 with Father Elias Mitchell officiating. Interment will be at Rest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

In honor of Mary, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital and the Wayland Area Emergency Ambulance Service.
