Nadine Kay Ellinger, age 79, formerly of Shelbyville, died Sunday, March 4.

Nadine loved her dogs; Dobby, Finnigan, Kennedy. She spent much of her time with her pets. Nadine was involved with her church, Shelbyville United Methodist.

She is survived by her sisters, Nora Ellinger, Devra Ostrom, Marcella Staggs; many nieces, nephews, and special friends, Ruth and Carolyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleon and Arloa Ellinger; sister, Myrna MacIver; brother, Neil Ellinger.

Visitation with the family will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Shelbyville United Methodist Church, 938 124th Ave. A funeral will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.

In honor of Nadine, contributions may be made to the family to be sent to the Doxie Follies Villa.
