“Fun” to make cookies with an added touch of red white and blue candied sprinkles. That color splash of candy confetti will go great with your own festive activities. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Ingredients:

1 Funfetti cake mix

1 8 ounce thawed tub of cool whip

1 egg

1 cup powdered sugar

Red White and blue sprinkles (optional)

Directions:

Place the powdered sugar in a flat dish. In a large mixing bowl mix the sprinkles into the dry cake mix. Beat in the cool whip and egg with the cake mix until well blended. Use a cookie scoop to scoop out the cookie dough into balls, rolling them in the powdered sugar. Place on a parchment lined or slightly greased cookie sheet baking for 15 to 18 minutes.

The great thing about these cookies is you can make any flavor that is appealing to you, just leave the extra sprinkles out. Makes about two dozen. Enjoy!
