Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the South Main Steet paving project is now complete, with left-turn lanes, as promised. The city-Michigan Department of Transportation project finished earlier this week and all of the signs telling motorists to use detours have been taken down. The MDOT paid for about half of the reconstruction and paving, which promoted city officials to have the work done. Especially grateful for the conclusion of the project are local businesses located along the street from Sycamore to 133rd Avenue.
