GoFundMe set up for Arquimedes Miguel-Ruiz

Arquimides Miguel-Ruiz, age 42, of Dorr, died Monday, March 24, after suffering a stroke.

He was born on May 24, 1982, in Madero San Miguel Tlaxiaco, Oaxaca, Mexico.

In 2000, Arquimedes came to the United States seeking opportunity and a brighter future. In 2005, he was joined by his wife and older children, and together they built a life grounded in care and perseverance. He worked at Yankee Spring Dairy Farm, where he was known for his unwavering sense of responsibility and commitment to his work.

Arquimedes was preceded in death by his parents, Cliserio F. Miguel-Cruz and Amalia Ruiz-Sanchez. He is survived by wife, Emigdia Garcia-Santos, and their four children: Juan J. Miguel-Garcia, Nahomi Miguel-Garcia, Arquimedes Fabio Miguel-Garcia, and Carlos E. Miguel-Garcia.

A visitation will be held at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services (Dorr Chapel), 4330 18th St., at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 30,, followed by a Rosary service and a Funeral Liturgy at 2 p.m.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the medical personnel who cared for Arquimedes during his final days and to the many friends and loved ones who offered support to the family during this time.His daughter, Nahomi, has established a GoFundMe, leaving behind her, a wife and two sons.

“Any donations you can make would be greatly appreciated and would help cover the expenses of my father’s funeral,” she said.
