The Miller and Thomas families experienced a very difficult day Friday when they had to put down Faith, the barrel racing companion and very close friend of Grace Thomas. The horse was having difficulty breathing, especially during the recent spate of hot and humid weather. Faith and Grace took part together in many racing competitions all over Michigan and beyond. Grace’s mom, Tammy Miller Thomas, described Faith as her daughter’s best friend.
