Tom and Joyce, longtime owners of Grand Sales & Surplus, have sold the business to Mike and Renee Reurink after 24 years.
“The support this community has shown us is over whelming, the cards and well wishes from long time customers. Who would have ever known that accidentally buying a building would develop so many friendships.”
The new owners have taken over the store and building as of Monday, Dec. 1. It is located next the auction house at 3622 10th St.
“Please be patient with them as they navigate this new adventure,” Tom said.
The Reurinks are life long residents of Wayland.
