Carey John Zoet, age 54, of Burnips, died Wednesday, Sept. 2.

His earthly struggles are over and he is now at peace in his heavenly home.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children Mindi and Jeremy Zoet; parents Dennis D. Zoet and Nancy A. (Dan) Burns; granddaughter Madison Campos; siblings Chris Zoet (Dianne Ring), Steve (Kim) Zoet, Terry Raad, Scott Raad, Linda (Tim) Stark, and Mary (Ken) Maize; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Robin Zoet, and sister, Nancy Marshall.

Visitation with the family will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home at 4330 18th St., Dorr. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Salem Township Cemetery. Pastor Steve Jones will be officiating.
