Jean Ethier, age 96, died Friday, Sept. 4.

She is survived by her children, Eugene (Pat) Brefke of Wayland; stepchild, Bernadette (Jeff) Chase; grandchildren Barb (John) Marcinek, Bill (Nicole) Brefke, Jody (Chuck) Smith, Jennifer Chase; great-grandchildren Amanda Marcinek, Jack Marcinek, Rhiannon Brefke, and Zachary Chase; many nieces in England; and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ethier.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Kent Memorial Gardens, 7295 Clyde Park Ave SW, Byron Center. Tim Adams will be officiating.
