Jerone Rosalie (nee Barone) Ford, age 81, died Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Jerone loved all things outdoors, from camping to working in her yard and feeding the birds, the “chuck” family, squirrels and deer. She was a homemaker by trade who loved to bake, and she especially loved her family. Along with baking, she also had a love for food. She also enjoyed watching TV, including golf, “Supernatural,” the soaps, and cheering on her Lions.

She is survived by her children Ann (Joe) Larson, Thomas (Pamela) Ford, Kenneth Ford, Carol Ford; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and one very special granddaughter, Nichole; her siblings Rosalie Nichols, Frankie Barone, Donald Barone, Jackie Barone; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Ford; her parents Vincent and Antoinette Barone; and her brother, Vincent Barone.

Graveside committal services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug 14, at Dorr Township Cemetery with a time to visit from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
