aming Authority Board has announced the expansion of the Gun Lake Casino to add more gaming, entertainment and dining options.
Clark Construction has started site work, which includes excavation and site preparation in advance of spring construction. “We are thrilled to announce the addition of more gaming, entertainment and dining options here at Gun Lake Casino,” said Ed Pigeon, vice chairman of the board. “Guest experience is our number one priority, which is why our expansion will focus on our core entertainment offerings. We also devoted resources to making great career opportunities even better for our team members.”
The expansion of the Gun Lake Casino will include:
- Additional gaming floor square footage
- A new 300-seat multi-station buffet
- Expansion of Stage 131 lounge and entertainment area
- Expansion of team member dining room and lounge
The new team member dining room and lounge, which will replace the current dining room, will feature a break room, additional space for personal lockers, and a team member café, where team members enjoy a complimentary meal on every shift.
The Gun Lake Casino expansion tentatively is scheduled to open in the summer of 2017. The northwest parking lot will be closed off for the duration of the construction expansion project.
