Gun Lake Pit Stop Pizzeria on M-179, Chief Noonday Road, is closing its doors effective immediately.

The Pit Stop two years ago succeeded Mitten Pizza, which ceased business in May 2021.

In a posting on Facebook, a spokesperson wrote, “After much consideration and reflection, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of our beloved pizza shop… Managing this venture alongside our other businesses has proven to be quite challenging, particularly due to its distance from our home base.

“In the meantime, we want to assure you that our neighboring vape shop will continue to serve you without interruption. You can still enjoy the exceptional products while we work behind the scenes to determine the best path forward.”

The posting indicated anyone interested in running a turnkey pizza operation in Gun Lake should get in touch.

“We are sincerely grateful for your understanding and ongoing support during this transitional period. Your love for our pizza and your loyalty mean the world to us, and we deeply appreciate your patience as we navigate this journey.”
