The fifth annual Wayland Hot Air Balloonfest Friday had to be called off because of gusty winds. However, activities will resume Saturday, Sept. 6 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. if the weather permits. The action is at the old Wayland Airport, now known as Calkins Field north of Wayland on Division Avenue in Leighton Township.
