A fire severely damaged the Robrahn family home at the end of 114th Avenue in Martin Township Monday. Three fire trucks were summoned to the scene, where all occupants were reported to have escaped safely, but two dogs were still inside the structure. It was reported on Facebook that the house had been built in 1835 before Martin became a township.
Martin Fire & Rescue was assisted by Yankee Springs, Wayland and Otsego departments.
