Hopkins FFA members participated in the district leadership contests at VanBuren Technology Center Feb. 1. Students participated in various public speaking contests, job interview, demonstration, agricultural issues and conduct of meetings. Advisor Jessica Couch said, “All members did an outstanding job and have improved on their career skills which they will use no matter where they go in life.” Members who placed first or second will advance to the regional level contests Thursday, Feb. 15, at the Branch Area Career Center.
