The roll continues for the Hopkins girls’ basketball team.
The Lady Vikings again stepped outside league competition Saturday and came away with a 44-34 victory over East Grand Rapids. It was the Lady Vikings’ ninth consecutive victory this season since their 64-57 loss Jan. 6 to Grandville Calvin Christian, which they avenged earlier this month.
The Hopkins girls now own a 12-3 overall record for the season and they are a half game ahead of Grandville Calvin Christian in the O-K Silver Conference standings with a 9-1 mark.
The Lady Vikings will play Tuesday night at home against league opponent Fruitport.
