Hopkins High School graduate Trevor Smith is the starting wide receiver on the Albion College football team, which is battling for the top spot in the Michigan Intercollegiate Association standings.

The Britons Saturday got the best of Adrian in a showdown of two teams chasing Hope for the MIAA triple. Albion is 4-1 overall and 2-0 in league play. Shown above is Trevor Smith scoring a touchdown against Trine earlier this season. When he was a Viking, he was quarterback.
