Hopkins Public Schools officials have decided to set in stone a graduation date for 7 p.m. Friday, July 24, for the Class of 2020.

“Many factors went into this decision and we want students and families to have a date to count on,” a district spokesperson said. “At this time, we are still very unsure of what the graduation ceremony will look like and it will depend on what health guidelines are in place in July.”

The administration is working with class officers to come up with an “Acceptable – Better – Best Model,” and will communicate plans in early July.
