The Hopkins Board of Education will see a shortage of candidates in the Nov. 3 general election.
As it stands now, there are four openings, but only two seeking board seats.
Superintendent Gary Wood indicated that incumbents Ben Brenner, Jay Gibson and John Myers will not be seeking re-election. However, current board member Jessica Johnston has filed.
Andrea Buist has filed as a newcomer.
