Hopkins High School grad Charlie Bellgraph dies at 73

Charles Kenneth Bellgraph, Sr. age 73, died Tuesday, July 31.
He was born on Dec. 23, 1944, to Eugene and Ina Bellgraph, the third of their nine children.
He is survived by his wife Peggy; his children Charles (Aimee) Bellgraph, Jr., John (Dawn) Bellgraph, Robert (Michelle) Bellgraph, and Tina (Greg) Rounds; his siblings Judith (Michael) Dudek, Ellen Mittelsteadt, Jeanne (Peter) Brandl, John M. Bellgraph, Linda (Kim Lang) Bellgraph, and Susan (Steven) Gross.
A 1963 graduate of Hopkins High School, he was an affectionate grandfather to eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Charlie worked for Little Gem Trailers for many years and then for Spartan Industries until his retirement. He greatly enjoyed his retirement shooting pool, playing euchre, gabbing with everyone he knew, being a helpful big brother, and many other activities.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his older brothers David and Richard.
A Celebration of Life luncheon will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Community Christian Reformed Church, 150 Burt St SE, Wyoming MI.
