
Hopkins and three other schools have their sights set on the O-K Silver Conference volleyball championship at the league meet Saturday, Oct. 25, at Wyoming Godwin Heights.
The Vikings will go into the tournament behind undefeated and league-leading Fruitport and perennial rival Calvin Christian and NorthPointe Christian. Fruitport is 7-0 in Silver play, The Vikings and Northpointe are 5-2 and Calvin 4-2.
Overall, Hopkins has a 20-14-2 record for the season
The Lady Vikings Thursday evening honored their senior members on the team and came up with a dual match victory at home vs. Kelloggsville.
Kylee Sykes, Kavy Martinez and Kira Miling.each recorded three serving aces. Cora Hall had 14 kills, Kally Bishop six and Leah Williams four, Sykes two blocks and Cora Hall one, Martinez 15 digs, Kelsey Burgess eight and Andrea Brower four.
