The Hopkins High School volleyball team captured runners-up honors Saturday at the O-K Silver Conference meet.
The Vikings defeated Comstock Park in three straight sets, then took three of four from Northpointe Christian 3-1 before losing in four matches in the finals to champion Fruitport.
“I’m a proud coach!” admitted coach Amy Bishop Funk, who is completing only her first season at the helm of the program.
