Due to inclement weather and poor anticipated road conditions, the Turkey Trot holiday run on Thanksgiving Day has been canceled.
Hopkins High School cross-country coach John Wamhoff expalined, “If it were just cold, we would push through, but with accumulating snow forecasted overnight paired with high winds and icy roads, it will create an unsafe environment for travel and racing conditions. I hope this email finds you in plenty of time to adjust your schedules as you see fit.
“Refunds will be offered if you request a refund. If a refund is not requested, that money will still be donated to the Hopkins cross country program. To request a refund, please email “[email protected]” for that request. It will likely take 7-10 days to process if you choose to request a refund.”
