The Hopkins High School volleyball season came to an end Wednesday night in the semifinals of the district tournament at Wayland. The Vikings, after scoring a big victory over Wayland in the opening round Monday, lost to perennial volleyball power Lake Odessa Lakewood Wednesday night. “Our season came to an end tonight,” said coach Amy Bishop Funk. ” What a great season! We left everything on the court this week. We finished 25-17-2.”
