Some residents of Hunters Glen mobile home park received a surprising letter from trash hauler Arrowaste this month. The letter notified customers who had been paying $18 a year for curbside recycling that they would now pay nothing.
This windfall for these residents was made available by a deal Leighton Township made with Arrowaste. The deal, as reported by TownBroadcast in October, has the township covering to cost of the barrels for the households in Leighton township.
Residents of the township, including those in Hunters Glen, can request their free barrel for curbside recycling from Arrowaste.
