Jerry Heasley, 52, 30-year veteran of Salem Twp. Fire Dept., passes

Jerry Heasley, 52, of Burnips died Monday, Nov. 3.
Jerry drove truck for Padnos for 22 years, he was a fireman at Salem Township Fire Department for 30 years, was a member of the Redemption Riders and he was a member of Life Change Community Church.
He is survived by his wife Dawn; his children: Michelle and Jeff De Jonge, Michael Heasley, Jessica Heasley, Elizabeth Heasley and Dakota Healsey; his mother Pat Heasley; his brothers: Marv and Cris Heasley, Joe and Roxanne Heasley, father and mother-in-law Paul and Shirley Maki; in-laws: Diane and Aaron Hichue, Denise Borgman, Deb Maki, Dave and Cheryl Maki and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 South State Street, Zeeland. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015 at Life Change Community Church (formerly Burnips Wesleyan Church) 3014 Newell, Burnips, MI 49314. Pastor Steve Jones will officiate. Interment will be in Salem Township Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Michigan or Shields of Hope.
