The ferocious summer wind and rain storm last Wednesday night and early Thursday played havoc with a lot of trees in this area and perhaps the most devastating property damage occurred at the Hooker Cemetery in Leighton Township. Local officials since have been trying to clean up the mess. Thankfully the damages are covered by the township’s insurance carrier.
