Light snow is slippery and is causing traffic accidents

A winter snowstorm that was expected to be very light actually caused some traffic problems Monday morning. A traffic crash was reported on M-179 yin Yankee Springs Township and this mail truck was overturned in a ditch on 128th Avenue in Hopkins Township. Motorists are being advised because though snow accumulations are light, the white stuff is slippery.
