I found a Cookie Gun! Let’s make Peanut Crinkles. I remembered these as being a thin, rich and tasty cookie Grandma made that had a very nice peanut butter flavor. I’m sure you could use a small scoop to make these too.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup + 2 tablespoons cake flour (I did use regular flour here)
1 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
Let margarine get room temperature in a mixing bowl. Cream with peanut butter until soft.
Add sugars gradually, continuing to beat. Add egg and beat well until light and fluffy.
Mix the flour, sugar and salt together. Add to the peanut butter mixture and again, beat well, to fully incorporate. Chill dough for 15 minutes while you preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Pack into a cookie gun; make into desired shapes on an ungreased or parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes around 3 dozen when the gun dial is set between thin and medium. I pulled the trigger 3 times for each 2-inch baked cookie.
