Local entrepreneur and public relations specialist Anthony Winters has come up with batches of hand sanitizer, using the alcohol for the Four One Tow Distillery in downtown Wayland. Winters apparently is taking to hear t the old saying, “Necessity is the mother of invention,” during the quest for the substance during the COVID-19 virus crisis. He has reported on Facebook that his product already is in area grocery stores and is in high demand.
