Lucas Allen “Luke” Harrington, 32, of Hopkins was the victim of a fatal SUV rollover Sunday afternoon during the winter storm.

Born May 30, 1986, in Fort Knox, Ky., he was the son of Deborah Lynn (Hazen) Ruthruff and Kenneth Jay Harrington and was the husband of Victoria Lyn (VerSluys) Harrington. He had worked as a diesel mechanic at Pace Trailer.

Luke was an avid sports enthusiast with an impressive golf swing; he could hit a golf ball all the way to the silos at the farm if you wanted him to. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes and bean bags and shooting pool. Luke always remained calm and quiet in any situation and he would never tell anyone no.

Besides his wife of eleven years, Vicky, Luke is survived by his children, Payton Lea Harrington and Parker Allen Harrington; siblings, Amanda (Cory) Perrin, Jeremy Harrington, Emily (Scott) Steward, Charle (Annalise) Harwood, Timothy Harwood, William Harwood and Patrick Gillies; stepmother, Susan Harrington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, April 22, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, at which time a memorial service will begin.
