Lumberjack cannabis business closes on West Superior

Word on the street is that the Lumberjack Provisioning Center has closed permanently. It was one of five cannabis dispensaries that opened in Wayland after voters statewide approved a ballot proposal legalizing marijuana. Lumberjack, located at 122 W. Superior St. in downtown Wayland, had its ribbon cutting ceremony March 28. There is another Lumberjack provisioning center still open in Dowling in Barry County south of Hastings.
