The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced that M-179 (129th Avenue) will be closed between U.S.-131 and 10th Street. starting Monday, May 10, through Monday, May 17.
The road will be closed at the railroad tracks, but traffic to the Gun Lake Casino will be maintained from the west.
Motorists from the west are advised to go south on 12th Street to 124th Avenue east on 124th Avenue to 10th Street, then north on 10th Street to M-179.
Motorists from the east should travel south on 10th Street to 124th Ave, west on 124th Ave to 12th Street, then north on 12th Street to M-179.

Mr Young You might want to recheck your information. Monday the 10 the railroad crossing is to be worked on and the only way to the casino will be from US 131...if one is going to the Tribal Government offices than they will take the detour you have printed. There will be no way to get to the casino from the East .
