
The Martin High School girls bowling team clinched the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SAC) Central Division championship by defeating Coloma at the Rock’N Bowl in Wayland.
Meanwhile, the boys bested an undefeated Coloma in an upset.
The Lady Clippers captured a convincing 27-3 victory.27-3 Top three high scorers were Annelise McCarty 176, Jadelynn Hooper 161 and Kendra Goddard 126.
Top scorers for the boys, who won 18-12,were James Gruber 208, Caiden Kuester 201 and Brennan Hoyt 127.
Coach Damon Blackburn said,“With tonight’s win they (the girls)have defeated every team in the conference division.
“Both teams now have a winning record on the season, the girls going undefeated in the first half.”
The Clippers will be back on the lanes Wednesday to take on Parchment at Rock’n’Bowl Wayland.
